The Social Prescribing Show: Live Stream
The National Academy for Social Prescribing and the Southbank Centre invite you to an inspiring and informative day of live-streamed sessions and performances.
The National Academy for Social Prescribing and the Southbank Centre are delighted to present The Social Prescribing Show.
Chaired by NASP, this event celebrates and champions social prescribing, bringing together expert contributors from a variety of sectors.
One in five GP appointments are for non-medical reasons such as loneliness or financial worries. Social prescribing connects people to activities in their community that can tackle these issues and benefit health and wellbeing more generally.
The National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP) was established in 2019. It works to create partnerships across the arts, health, sports, leisure and the natural environment on a national and community level.
There are multiple sessions to join over the course of the day:
Session A – Communicating the power of people’s stories
Session B – Ensuring adequate workforce support for the delivery of social prescribing
Session C – Accelerating innovation through social prescribing partnerships
Session D – Building a global social prescribing movement
Session E – Unleashing the power of local communities
