Break the mould and try out hip-hop dancing at a free six-week series for local older adults, where you can pop a move and meet people at the same time.

Skylark Sessions is our new programme where each six-week-long series dives into a different artform with renowned artists. It’s open to those who are aged over 50 and looking to support their wellbeing through creativity and community.

For our next series, Get Lite, we’re dipping our toes into the world of hip-hop dance. Award-winning dance instructor and choreographer Damien Anyasi teaches Lite Feet, an energetic street dance style that promotes creativity and connection with others. Get your body moving while getting to know new people.

Anyasi offers seated movement options to accommodate everyone’s experience and access needs. These sessions are free, with refreshments provided.

We prioritise Lambeth and Southwark locals, but residents in other boroughs can join our waitlist. We would like participants to attend as many of the six sessions as they can.
