A structure with bicycle bells, hand bells and movable wooden beads
Clare Greenaway

Honk the golden tree, bang the metal teapots and chime the rainbow bells in our marvellous, musical playground for all the family.

Have you ever used a suitcase bass drum, a cutlery wind chime or magic oven tray headphones? No? Then come to have a go with us.

The Rig is an installation of musical curiosities built from upcycled and recycled objects turned into instruments and sound experiments – just like composer Walter Smetak’s musical instrument sculptures.

You can also get crafty with our eco-friendly art zone, where you can make a tin can drum or a plastic bottle shaker and play along to your favourite music. Who’d have thought that helping protect the environment could be so much fun?
