Trusts & Foundations

Support from Trusts and Foundations is hugely important to Southbank Centre, enabling us to welcome ever-growing audiences to our site and continue to deliver a cultural programme that stimulates, inspires, educates and amazes.

We firmly believe in the power of art, ideas and creativity to inspire, educate and effect change. It is our mission to look at the world with fresh eyes, give people a voice and find new ways of doing things whilst ensuring that art is available to the many and not just the few.

Creative partnerships

We have developed creative partnerships with a number of Trusts and Foundations who have supported this mission and we welcome the opportunity to build relationships with likeminded organisations worldwide to enable us to continue to:

  • Bring world-class and emerging artists to perform at Southbank Centre venues
  • Create new models for cultural and social education and continuously improve our facilities to ensure accessibility for all
  • Extend our reach by developing a festival touring programme in the UK and internationally, extending our schools and communities programme, and grow our capacity to distribute content digitally.
  • Offer apprenticeships for young people, and volunteer work for people who have struggled with mental health issues and homelessness
