Introducing London Philharmonic’s 2017-18 Concert Season at Southbank Centre

The 2017-18 Concert Season is upon us once again, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, one of our four resident orchestras, poised to play a prominent role throughout.

With thought-provoking programmes featuring star performers the Orchestra will be taking to  our Royal Festival Hall stage to perform a range of music on from Bach to Thomas Adès.

Celebrating the 10th season of their Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Vladimir Jurowski their season at Southbank Centre begins with the Belief and Beyond Belief festival, with concerts exploring the themes of ‘judgement’ and ‘rituals and seasons’. Then in 2018 the Orchestra turns attention to the life and music of Stravinsky with Changing Faces: Stravinksy’s Journey.
