Orii Presents
Go back to the source and experience the harmony of community music-making with live performances and a jam session curated by the music collective.
Inspired by the Yoruba concept of Orii, which the group describes as the spark of collective consciousness or a shared soul, Orii brings musicians together to create and enjoy music in a collaborative setting.
In these concerts, experience music-making alchemy in uplifting sessions that bring together Orii regulars and special guests.
And for the full Orii experience, we wrap up with a curated, spiritual jam session, giving you the chance to tap into the community-created heart and soul of the collective.
Plus, join us for a free after party with Orii Club in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer following the event in the Purcell Room. Orii Club gives a new form to the energy of Orii’s bi-weekly London jam sessions, moving from live improvised nu-jazz sounds to electronic music.
Orii Club schedule
10pm – 11pm: Steph b2b Fayli
11pm – 12 midnight: Limi b2b DJ Programma
Set up to offer a welcoming space for all to take part and explore music, the community’s become a mainstay of the London creative scene, with weekly jam sessions in Hackney welcoming new and seasoned artists alike.
