One True Pairing

Sat 16 Nov 2024, 7.45pm

Former Wild Beasts songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Tom Fleming performs music from his new project, One True Pairing.

Having played the last Wild Beasts gig in early 2018, Fleming went back to basics with One True Pairing.

Written entirely by himself, Fleming brought on Ben Hillier (Depeche Mode, Nadine Shah, Graham Coxon) to produce his first music. Deeply personal, with a wider political resonance, the cornerstones of the album are male identity, class and taste.

The project title is taken from internet fan fiction, where writers imagine a perfect relationship they wish existed.
