Home: Short Films Screening + Q&A

Join us for a programme of exceptional short films curated by actress and writer Sarah Agha, exploring stories of migration and refugee narratives.

The Arab Film Club returns to the Southbank Centre this June for a special screening for Refugee Week, which this year has the central theme of ‘Home’.

Each title has been written and directed by a refugee filmmaker or draws on real life experience. These films demonstrate the power of cinema and humanise struggle and injustice through art.

The screening is followed by a Q&A hosted by Sarah Agha with the filmmakers on stage.

This event is part of our Refugee Week programme, and our summer season You Belong Here, which explores how we create and foster a sense of belonging in our communities and with our audiences so that everyone feels like Southbank Centre is a home away from home.
