Frankie Goes to Bollywood

Thu 15 Aug – Sun 18 Aug 2024

Expect dazzling dance, epic songs and sweeping romance in this new musical drawing on real stories of British women navigating the glitzy world of Bollywood.

Part of You Belong Here

From the makers of Britain’s Got Bhangra comes the world premiere of a new British musical, featuring Benidorm’s Laila Zaida, X Factor India winner Geet Sagar and sensational singer Navin Kundra.

Get ready to be swept away into the dazzling world of Bollywood!

Rifco’s most ambitious musical yet, Frankie Goes to Bollywood is a breathtakingly colourful show inspired by real stories of British women caught in the spotlight of the biggest film industry in the world.

Frankie never wanted to be a star, but after a chance encounter with a director, she finds herself transported to the ruthless world of Bollywood.

As she climbs the sparkling staircase of stardom, Frankie must confront what she is willing to do for fame and fortune. Can she stay in the Bollywood family and still be true to herself?

With heroes and villains, ornate costumes and spectacular sets galore, get ready to be swept off your feet by this tale of being British in Bollywood.

A Rifco Theatre Company, Watford Palace Theatre and HOME Manchester co-production. Supported by Arts Council England, TV partner Sony Pictures Network, Lyca Radio, and MAC Cosmetics.
