Mike Massaro

Rapper, artist, producer and activist M.I.A. curated the 24th Meltdown in 2017

Her line-up of outlaw musicians included Young Fathers, Crystal Castles, Soulwax, Giggs, Young M.A, Afrikan Boy, Mykki Blanco, JD Samson, I Wayne, Dexta Daps, Yung Lean, Princess Nokia, MHD and more.

The festival featured a carnival day, a South Asian mela and a party with community radio station Rinse FM, plus activities for Refugee Week.

'I'm bringing together new outlaw musicians from everywhere, who have contributed to keeping things weird, exciting, opinionated, loud, emotional and brave or off the grid in the present climate.'
