The International Piano Series spotlights the most prestigious pianists on the concert platform, combining the talents of the grand masters alongside the best of a current generation of rising stars.
The 2018/19 season marks the 30th anniversary of the International Piano Series, which has been an integral part of Southbank Centre’s programme since it was founded in 1988.
In 2018/19 we present no fewer than six series debuts, while Paul Lewis continues his exploration of the musical links between Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms, and the great Mitsuko Uchida completes her survey of Schubert Sonatas. We also hear music from Scarlatti to Stockhausen, and performances from IPS favourites including Cédric Tiberghien, Angela Hewitt, Nikolai Lugansky and Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
Tickets must be purchased in the same transaction.
