London can be a big place, but there are plenty of friendly faces and creative communities to find your place in. Creative Encounters invites you to experience the array of art and culture that makes this city a home to so many.

Find a creative home in the heart of the city with our monthly creative sessions, bringing together Londoners old and new for conversation, music and making.

Join us on the third Wednesday of the month for live music, hands on creative challenges, poetry from the National Poetry Library, and plenty of things to make and do while you meet new people. So if you’re new to the capital and feeling a little lost – or just eager to meet people and discover something new, come join us and make the Southbank Centre your home for the evening.

This session, taking place during London Literature Festival, is led by artist and poet Sophie Herxheimer.
