An Evening with Ferran Adrià

This event has been cancelled as we are currently closed due to the coronavirus crisis.

What is cooking? For groundbreaking chefs like Ferran Adriá, cooking has reached a level of complexity where science intersects with immense creativity.

In celebration of his latest book, What Is Cooking, join Adriá for a discussion around creativity and innovation in food – and beyond.

Famous for his pioneering culinary techniques, Adriá has been applauded – and imitated – around the world.

His restaurant elBulli, which was voted ‘The World’s Best Restaurant’ a record five times and won three Michelin stars, was one of the most creative and influential of our time, and trained many of the most interesting chefs working today.

Since elBulli’s closure in 2011, Ferran has been lecturing around the world and developing the elBullifoundation, a culinary academy and think tank, on the site of the former restaurant.

What Is Cooking, published by Phaidon, takes readers on a compelling journey to better understand the relationship between the human race and the process of preparing food.
