Sabrina Mahfouz: Poems from a Green and Blue Planet

Part of Imagine Children's Festival

Adventure into snowy mountains and deep blue oceans with poems celebrating the world you live in.

Poet Sabrina Mahfouz is the editor of a new anthology, Poems from a Green and Blue Planet, all about the wonders of the earth.

It features poems from the past and the present looking closely at our extraordinary surroundings.

She explains, ‘Our planet is of course not just green and blue. It is yellow and red and brown and grey… and pink and black and orange and white…’

She’s joined by poets whose work has been collected in the anthology, to share their poetic windows on the world.
