Out-Spoken Masterclass: March

Part of Out-Spoken

Find the right words at our three-hour weekend workshop, facilitated by leading UK/US poets.

Our March masterclass is led by award-winning poet and playwright Caroline Bird.

Open to all ages and abilities, the monthly Out-Spoken Masterclass gives anyone with an interest in poetry a chance to work with lauded writers while learning some of their approaches to crafting beautiful and original poetry.

Out-Spoken, one of London's premier poetry and live music nights, joins us at Southbank Centre for a year-long residency of events and workshops.

Caroline Bird is the author of five collections of poetry including In These Days of Prohibition. She has been shortlisted for the TS Eliot Award, the Ted Hughes Award, and the Dylan Thomas Prize twice. She has also won an Eric Gregory Award and been a winner of the Poetry London Competition and Peterloo Poetry Competition. Caroline was shortlisted for Shell Woman Of The Future Awards in 2011.
