Randy Newman

This event has been cancelled as we are currently closed due to the coronavirus crisis.

Known for music that captures all human emotion, the singer-songwriter and film composer won his seventh Grammy last year for satirical song ‘Putin’.

The song is from Dark Matter, the first album of new material released by Newman since 2008’s bestselling Harps and Angels.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Newman has created musical masterpieces widely recognised by generations of audiences.

Newman’s other projects include such unforgettable film scores as all four Toy Story films, James and the Giant Peach and A Bug’s Life.

His most recent chart appearance was a collaboration with Chance the Rapper on ‘5 Year Plan’ for the album The Big Day.

he remains a great American songbook unto himself
In Randy Newman’s best music he leaves you wondering where you stand, what you think, what you believe, how the world works
The acerbic songwriting genius surveys hypocrisies and tragedies great and small
