Out-Spoken Poetry Masterclass: Inua Ellams

Part of Out-Spoken

Join the poet and playwright Inua Ellams for a masterclass to fine-tune your writing.

This month’s session is led by poet and playwright Inua Ellams, who has published four books of poetry. His play Barber Shop Chronicles sold out its run at the National Theatre, and tours the UK in summer 2019. His latest book, The Half-God of Rainfall, was published in April 2019.

Open to all ages and abilities, from beginner to the more advanced, the class aims to give anyone with an interest in poetry the chance to work with the country's most revered writers while learning some of their methods and approaches to crafting beautiful and original poetry.

Out-Spoken, one of London's premier poetry and live music nights, is at Southbank Centre for a year-long residency of events and workshops.
