Out-Spoken Poetry Masterclass: Joelle Taylor

Part of Out-Spoken

Create poetry for performance from news articles, interviews and archive images with acclaimed poet and founder of national youth poetry slam SLAMbassadors.

Joelle Taylor, host of Out-Spoken Live, leads a masterclass on the form of poetry reportage, as explored in her latest collection Songs My Enemy Taught Me.

Out-Spoken Poetry Masterclass is a monthly three-hour weekend workshop which is facilitated by leading UK and US poets.

The class is open to people of all ages and abilities. Anyone with an interest in poetry can take advantage of the chance to work with established writers while learning some of their methods for crafting beautiful and original poetry.

Out-Spoken, one of London's premier poetry and live music nights, is joining Southbank Centre for a year-long residency of events and workshops.
