The trio’s first performance was in 2010 at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, which resulted in a residency where the trio curated its own programme.
This environment resulted in a Beethoven cycle in 2017, with a debut performance of the Beethoven Triple Concerto in Korea.
The trio has commissioned works from Timothy Salter, Gary Carpenter and Daniel Kidane, who was the first to write for the trio in its debut London recital at Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room.
The Fournier Trio looks forward to more recording projects, collaborations with composers and musicians in its next ten years.
