Schumann and Pepper the Monkey

Part of Associate Orchestras

This musical morning introduces under-5s to the playful genius of Schumann and the adventures of Pepper the monkey.

Embark with Pepper on his adventures to join the Rainbow Circus.

Step inside the Green Leaf Forest, tightrope walk across a dancing river, tame a furry lion cub and make music with some very rascally frogs.

The immersive storytelling concert features new chamber arrangements of Schumann’s music and an original story from Kate Wakeling a critically acclaimed poet who is Aurora Orchestra’s writer-in-residence.

Audiences are invited to listen, sing, dance and enter a magical world of music, discovery and play.

This event features music from Schumann’s Carnaval, Kinderszenen and more.
