Dystopia

Part of Classical Season 2019/20

The BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor Ben Palmer and saxophonist Trish Clowes present the world premiere of Joe Cutler’s Saxophone Concerto, commissioned by BBC Radio 3.

The concerto's dystopian feel infuses the rest of the concert to bring some alternative seasonal greetings.

Enjoy some of the most classic dystopian film music from films including A Clockwork Orange, Fahrenheit 451 and A Nightmare Before Christmas.
