Part of China Changing Festival

The writer has been declared a criminal by the state. Facing imprisonment, exile or worse, their life hangs on the words of so-called friends and enemies.

Through hip-hop, contemporary dance and an explosive embodiment of Chinese calligraphy, Si Rawlinson’s Red INK explores the role of dissident artists and the struggle between the desires of state and citizen.

Presented by Wayward Thread and produced by Step Out Arts.
