Andrew Gourlay Conducts The Planets

Part of Classical Season 2018/19

Delve into the mysteries of the solar system with Holst’s iconic suite, presented alongside a magnificent piano concerto by Rachmaninov.

The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra performs here under the baton of Andrew Gourlay, described as ‘One to Watch’ by Gramophone magazine.

Victor Maslov joins the orchestra for one of the most technically challenging pieces in the pianist’s repertoire: Rachmaninov’s powerful Third Concerto, featured prominently in the Oscar-winning film Shine.
