Mark 50 years of jazz label ECM at a performance by the German pianist with long-time collaborators bassist Marc Muellbauer and drummer Heinrich Köbberling.

Julia Hülsmann Trio is joined by tenor saxophonist Uli Kempendorff, who also collaborates on their seventh album on ECM which is due for release in 2019 – signalling a new timbre for the group.

After joining forces in 1997, the trio released their first album with ECM, The End of a Summer, in 2008.
