We welcome school and tour groups to the Southbank Centre
Whether you want your class to experience the latest Hayward Gallery exhibition, or you’re planning to head to our next big gig with fellow fans, we can help you make the most of your trip.
To help us manage our venues and spaces effectively and to ensure that everyone enjoys the best possible experience, we encourage groups looking to attend the Southbank Centre or Hayward Gallery to book in advance.
Booking events for groups
Group bookings will sometimes be eligible for ticket discounts. However this varies, dependent on the terms of the event booked, and the nature and size of the group.
Group bookings cannot be made through our online event pages.
Reservations for groups of 10 or more people can be made by email or by phone (Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm, Saturday & Sunday, 12pm – 5pm) with payment by card or BACS transfer.

Free events
Access to our free events is on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be booked in advance unless the event is listed as ‘free but ticketed’.
Risk Assessments
All group leaders should carry out their own risk assessment prior to their visit. although one can be obtained from us on request, when contacting to make your booking.
Cloakroom
Cloakroom facilities are available on request by emailing the Duty Manager in advance to check that we will have space available.
