Camden Young Writers

Camden Young Writers is The Poetry Society’s latest opportunity for local young writers (aged 16-18) in the London Borough of Camden. This free programme will introduce young poets to the skills they’ll need in any creative career.

Over weekly sessions throughout the autumn term, award-winning poets will guide the group through the essentials – critical reading, writing and editing skills, along with how to give and receive feedback and share one’s work via performance and magazines.

If you are interested in joining Camden Young Writers, you should submit a written or video application outlining the following:
• Why you would like to be part of Camden Young Writers.
• Any creative writing you’ve done so far.
• How Camden Young Writers might help with your future career goals.
