Two Als are Alex and Alex and their food stall journey began when they met right here on our Southbank Centre Food Market in 2022.

Sharing a passion for affordable high quality food, this tasty partnership promises a vibrant, theatrical engaging experience rooted in the bodegas of New York City, with each and every chopped cheese made from scratch before your eyes. 

Get a flavour of the US east coast with their signature sandwiches; The Harlem, The Hampton and Hell’s Kitchen.

Southbank Centre Food Market Southbank Centre

Southbank Centre Food Market is open every weekend.

Fridays, 12 noon – 9pm
Saturdays, 11am – 9pm
Sundays, 12 noon – 6pm*
Bank holiday Mondays, 12 noon – 6pm

*On Bank holiday weekends, the market stays open until 9pm on Sundays

Plan your visit

Southbank Centre Food Market is located on Southbank Centre Square, on the Belvedere Road side of our Royal Festival Hall.

Getting here

Our address is Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX.

The nearest tube stations to us are Waterloo and Embankment; Waterloo is also the nearest train station. And more than 20 different London bus routes pass within 500 metres of our venues.  More information on getting here by rail, road or river is available on our Getting here page.

Cash or card

Though some of our food market vendors accept cash many no longer do, so be prepared to pay with either cash or card to avoid disappointment.

Access

We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.

All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.
