Composers Antonín Dvořák and Josef Suk (Dvořák's favourite pupil and son-in-law) were both influenced by place and close relationships with loved ones. Travel to Prague with conductor Jakub Hrůša, a Prague resident, to uncover the stories behind Dvořák's Cello Concerto and Suk's rarely performed work, the Asrael Symphony.
Witness Hrůša performing with the Philharmonia Orchestra this spring.
The first concert takes place on Thursday 23 March, with an all-Brahms programme comprising the composer's lyrical Piano Concerto No.2 and powerful final symphony. Find out more
